Yunesi didn't identify any of those held, AP said. He declined to comment when asked about media reports that Iran is holding al-Qaeda's second in command, Egyptian Ayman al-Zawahri, al-Qaeda spokesman Suleiman Abu Ghaith or its security chief, Saif al-Adil, AP reported. Yunesi was speaking two days after U.S. President George W. Bush said Iran and Syria are harboring terrorists. Al-Qaeda is blamed for the attacks on the U.S. on Sept. 11, 2001.
